Shipping Policy

At Fantasea Aquariums, we do our best to get your order to you quickly, safely, and at a fair price.

Dispatch Times

  • Orders are usually packed and shipped within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed and another email with tracking details once it’s on the way.
  • If you don’t hear from us within 2 business days, please contact us.

Delivery Costs

  • We offer flat rate shipping of $10.50 for orders under $150.
  • Orders over $150 may qualify for free or discounted shipping.
  • Some large, bulky or fragile items may have additional postage charges or be available for in-store pickup only. This will be clearly noted at checkout.

What We Can’t Ship

Some products can’t be posted due to size, safety, or other restrictions:

  • No delivery to Parcel Lockers
  • No frozen foods
  • No live fish or corals
  • No CO₂ cylinders over 100g

Contact us if you’re unsure—we may be able to offer an alternative solution.

Delivery Carriers & Guarantees

We use trusted carriers like Australia Post, but once your order is dispatched, delivery is out of our hands. We can’t guarantee delivery times, but we’ll always help where we can. For any delivery issues (delays, damage, lost parcels), please follow these steps:

For Australia Post deliveries:

  • Visit: auspost.com.au/help-and-support
  • Call 13 13 18 and ask to speak with a Team Leader in the Australian Consumer Law Team
  • Request compensation under Australian Consumer Law
  • If Australia Post asks you to contact us, tell them you’d like to lodge a claim directly under your consumer rights.
